Why did we choose a mineral sunscreen?
When it comes to SPF, Ole prefers a physical formula over a chemical one. While chemical sunscreens are absorbed into skin, physical sunscreens are made with minerals—including zinc oxide—that sit on skin’s surface and create a physical barrier to instantly reflect UVA and UVB rays. Physical sunscreens are also known to be better for the environment.

To help offset this mineral cast, we added in our iconic light-reflecting mineral pigments.
